Learning doesn’t start and stop in the classroom, which is why our campus engages all five senses of the child. Nestled in the Arroyo woods, our campus is truly a neighborhood. The houses on Shady Lane are home to our state of the art facilities and indoor classrooms.
The City of Pasadena recently issued permits to allow Pacific Oaks Children’s School to begin upgrades to our facilities in order to increase accessibility consistent with the requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This retrofitting project will include work connected to the foundation, framing, and structural assemblies of classrooms/houses to maximize the structural integrity of the spaces and ensure accessibility for our students, families, faculty, staff, and neighborhood community.
The project will begin on September 18, 2021, and is scheduled to end on approximately January 5, 2022. Consistent with the City of Pasadena’s Code Compliance, and to limit any disturbance during the work/school week, work will take place on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from September 18 until December 14. From approximately December 15, 2021 until January 5, 2022, work will take place Monday to Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
